Congratulations to Joshua Edison! He’s won the black DODOnotes case for iPhone 5. Enjoy, Josh!
I have been a DODOcase customer since the original iPad was released in the US. I love these great-looking, high-quality cases. In fact, my first DODOcase actually saved my iPad’s life. [1. Note that the DODOcase is not an impact case. A healthy dose of luck was also in play here.] If you read the site, you know that I also love paper. That’s why I think DODOcase’s latest product, DODOnotes, is so cool.
It combines a gorgeous case with a handy, nice-looking notebook of Mohawk Superfine Paper. I have one and can tell you that it’s quite nice.
I also have one for you.
It’s a black model, made for an iPhone 5, with the notebook included. I’m sure you’re going to love it. To enter the giveaway contest, complete the form below. Here are the rules:

I ordered my first DODOcase a week after the original iPad shipped. Today, I’m on my second one (the first one saved my iPad’s life) and I love it as much as the first [1. Here’s my review on TUAW.]. Now, DODOcase has updated its line with three products for the new iPad: the DODOcase Classic, the Essential and the Spring Summer, pictured above (note the hole for the rear-facing camera).
This is not an ad, it’s a personal endorsement. I love DODOcase and don’t plan on using anything else.
I don’t have a Kindle Fire but I bought a DODOcase for my original iPad a week after it became available. It’s the only case I’ve ever used (here’s my review of the DODOcase for iPad 2 on TUAW). And, despite it not being a shock-proof case, a DODOcase once saved my iPad’s life.
If I did have a Kindle Fire, I’d absolutely get a DODOcase for it.
A few minutes ago, I arrived home from a very long day at work. I partially unpacked my backpack before picking it up to move the rest of the things into my basement office. At the top of the stairs I realized that I had forgotten to zip it shut, but not before the contents, including my iPad, fell seven feet onto a concrete floor. I watched, horrified, as it landed hard and skittered across the concrete.
My iPad was inside my DODOcase. I fearfully removed its strap and opened the cover.
The iPad was completely unharmed.
I did a few tests and gave it a full physical exam. There’s not a scratch on it and it works perfectly. Unfortunatley, the inner bamboo casing of my beloved 1st edition DODOcase shattered, absorbing the energy of the impact. I’m very sad to see it go, but also extremely grateful.
Thank you, DODOcase. You rock.
I use a DODOcase with my iPad (here’s my review at TUAW). Lately I’ve been using the inside front cover as a table for jotting notes while sifting through Reeder, making it combination iPad case/lap desk.
I bought the DODOcase the day after the iPad was released in the US and I’m still in love with it.
