Before you go to bed, write down what you’ll do when you sit at your desk in the morning. It’s extremely important for two reasons. First, your brain will let you sleep once nagging tasks have been off-loaded. More importantly, you’ll know exactly what to do when you sit down in the morning. Eliminate the “what should I work on?” uncertainty by taking care of it ahead of time.
Try this: write down the three tasks that must get done by the end of work tomorrow before you go to bed tonight. After 7 days, let me know how it goes.
