Here are some apps I’ve been using this week.
- Drafts 1.3. Drafts continues to be my digital notebook. These instructions for using the app for live tweeting are pretty cool.
- Photo Editor by Aviary. This former Google Play plugin is now a full-on app for iOS. You’ll find standard fare like cropping and such as well as attractive filters. Plus, it displays the contents of your phone’s Camera Roll Coverflow-style and offers non-destructive editing. It’s quite nice.
- Tempo Advance. Hands-down the best metronome app on the App Store. I’ve been using it while practicing with Stick Control all week.
- Trello. Trello is a web-based service meant to be a collaboration tool for teams, but I’ve been using it to capture post ideas. It’s fast, fast, fast with support for Markdown and extensive keyboard shortcuts. There’s an iOS app but the mobile site performs so well you don’t need it.
Here are three apps I’ve recently abandoned.
